Blissfully relaxing, magical, perfect for nature for lovers. The most beautiful location, the sound of the jungle was just magical, you could literally just sit and look at it all day, nature at its best ❤️. Not so much the location but we hadn’t considered the damp, you’re in the jungle and near the river so everything gets very damp, even walking up in the mornings your bedding feels damp, that said, I would go back here without a second thought.

During our stay at Bagus Jati, my partner and I were delighted by Surya Restaurant. The serene ambiance and breathtaking views set a stunning backdrop. The exceptional service, with incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff, made us feel welcome. Each dish was a thoughtful blend of traditional flavors whilst offering some modern twists. I stayed for 3 nights and it was amazing. You can enjoy yoga, meditation, various activities, pool and massage in a real jungle. The hotel grounds are huge and you can spend the whole day on the grounds. Just being at the hotel is healing. The staff are kind and there are many solo travelers, so I was able to interact with them through activities. I want to go again.

Everything about the resort is exceptional! The location, the villas, the people and staff, the food and the spa. It was a truly relaxing experience in the middle of nowhere. Would definitely visit again. Although it's a bit expensive - I don't mind paying for the kind of service and facilities and the experience that we get. Don't miss out on the free daily activities - like morning yoga, canang making, free afternoon tea by the pool side along with the chit-chat with yoga masters Buddha and Gusti. Do try out the jacuzzi and the sauna at the spa - it's free as well. Also recommend to try the sejati massage at the spa. Highly recommended!

Heavenly stay at Bagus Jati. The decor is magnificent, our room was as spacious as an apartment. The staff is amazing and the food is excellent. Incredible place in the heart of the jungle. very high level of service. The most beautiful Lanshavd I've ever seen. There were 11 of us, the rooms are not new, but always clean and comfortable. “A magical place”. Bagus Jati offers a very peaceful and serene space, so conducive to relaxation, so good for body and mind. This is my second time around, and I will be back to enjoy this magical place again. The staff are happy and friendly. The villas are comfortable, private and spacious, surrounded by lush greenery. There is a good selection of vegetarian food at the restaurant.

Detox program close to heaven. What a haven!!! 5 star staff, food and surroundings!!!. We were overwhelmed with everything that Bagus Jati could offer. The photos do not do justice to the place. We came for a 10-day Detox program, and the food was so well thought by the doctor that we did not miss meat at all. The vegetarian meals were supper delicious with lots of balanced spices. During the program, we had different massages. The Spa manager was very accommodating, changing our times and the type of massages to accommodate our needs. Rich nature, helpful staff, organic food and comfortable spa are all wonderful places to come back. I also recommend you to participate in yoga activities every morning. Both the stay-oriented body were in good shape here. We exchanged e-mails in advance, such as picking up and dropping off at the airport, but I had a good impression of them because they were polite and quick.

My stay in Bagus Jati is very relaxing and very peaceful. I was in Bali for 10days and I made the right decision to book this hotel for my last 4 days to relax and have my time after exploring the island. They offer different activities to guest for free! I did join the meditation session. The breakfast is a great they have different varieties and it’s very heavy like you had brunch. I didn’t mind that it’s a bit far from Ubud because the hotel itself has a lot to offer. This is a perfect place to stay if you want some peace and quiet, and away from the busy streets. I WILL DEFINITELY GO BACK!

I had a life-changing experience during my stay. The accommodation was beautiful, and the food was incredibly fresh, with most produce grown in their gardens. The menu offered a wide variety of options. The spa was exceptional, offering a range of ayurvedic treatments, as well as other expected amenities. The yoga and meditation classes were transformative, and I felt my body soften over the weeks I was there, thanks to the teacher's gentle guidance. The staff were all kind and caring, focused on making my stay as enjoyable as possible. And the natural surroundings were breathtaking! I was here for three weeks and will be returning every year as it is the perfect tonic for wellbeing.

I believe you have to experience staying at a Ubud retreat once you’re in Bali, and Bagus Jati is a great choice. From check in to check out the staff are super lovely and accomodating. They upgraded me to a villa which was amazing. The room was spacious and the view was amazing. Buffet breakfast was very nice. Loved the selection of juices and tea. Activities were varied and you’re sure to find something to like here.

We both highly recommend staying here. The staff and facilities were all amazing, catching the buggy to take us to the restaurant was a thrill itself as well having access to the steam room and jacuzzi 10/10 we even done a free cooking class. A picture perfect location 10/10
